Established over 32 years ago and with our headquarters in Malaga, Perth we have a broad customer base in the mining and minerals processing industry.Based at our headquarters the Assistant Product Manager will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Product Manager – Low Profile Feeders & Belt Feeders in achieving sales and required outcomes of this product line.About the RoleWorking closely with the Product Manager – Low Profile & Belt Feeders and Director – Capital Sales & BD to achieve set objectives including, but not limited to;Define and publish the product vision and strategy and communicate within the organization;Analyse market to determine suitable product range or ranges to suit targeted markets; e.g. mining, industrial – both domestically and internationally, inclusive of market pricing;Assist senior management in defining sales growth strategies, develop effective sales plans and budgets that aligned to strategic objectives in order to achieve company, department and individual targets;Plan and communicate – product specifications, price lists, proposals and quote documents, IOM manuals, standard VDDR’s, marketing material;Introduce a product development R & D program in conjunction with the Operations department, establishing objectives and managing outcomes;Drive initiatives for cost reductions;Work with and support he Export Sales Manager in the quoting and sales of product range to defined export markets via agents and distributors;Work with and support Aftermarket in the sales of Aftermarket products and services including service agreements, spare parts etc;Attend trade shows and expos as and when required.About YouAbility to work both under instruction and autonomously in a diverse environment;Excellent administration, organizational and planning skills;Ability to develop and maintain communication lines and inter departmental relationships;‘Hands-on’ approach and working style;Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal;Previous experience with product development in the bulk materials handling industry;Sound IT skills, including MS Office;Previous experience with ERP’s (Microsoft NAV), CRM software (MS Dynamic) or similar;Ability and readiness to travel for possible extended periods at short notice;Must hold a current valid passport for international travel as and when required.Why TransminWA owned and operated OEM celebrating over 32 years of success;A professional, informal and flexible working environment allowing for an excellent work – life balance;Social and family inclusive workplace with employee benefits and an active social club.
