Established over 32 years ago and with our headquarters in Malaga, Perth we have a broad customer base in the mining and minerals processing industry.Based at our headquarters the Capital Sales Engineer is responsible for achieving and/or exceeding the sales targets of Transmin Capital Products by successfully generating enquiries and converting them to orders.About the RoleAssist the Senior Management Team in defining sales growth strategies, develop effective sales plans that are aligned to strategic objectives in order to achieve company, department and individual targets;Be a positive and inspiring Transmin representative, liaising with new and current clients to keep Transmin in the forefront of customer thinking;Identify and manage opportunities for capital sales with EPCM’s and end users, converting them to orders;Work in conjunction with relevant Product Managers to develop and tailor Transmin’s product offering to suit particular industries;Assist the marketing department to effectively promote Transmin and its products;Liaise with Transmin Project Managers after hand over of Transmin projects;Develop and use the CRM system to support the sales process and targets, ensuring effective data entry, sales pipeline management and reporting;Attend trade shows and expos, as and when required;Provide timely and accurate sales performance and activity reporting to management;Assist in setting annual sales budgets.About YouAbility to plan and work autonomously ;Adaptability and empathy to different cultures and environments;Ability to develop and maintain productive client relationships at all levels;Capable of driving outcomes from others;Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal;Broad commercial and financial acumen, including experience in contract negotiation advantageous;Ability to demonstrate measurable success in the sales and/or business development of mechanical equipment, projects or plant;Extensive network of professional contacts in the mining, manufacturing and industrial industries an advantage;Current valid passport enabling international travel;Sound IT skills, including MS Office;Previous experience with ERP’s (Microsoft NAV), CRM software (MS Dynamic) or similar;Ability and readiness to travel for possible extended periods at short notice;Why TransminWA owned and operated OEM celebrating over 32 years of success;A professional, informal and flexible working environment allowing for an excellent work – life balance;Social and family inclusive workplace with employee benefits and an active social club.
