Established over 32 years ago and with our head quarters in Perth, we have a customer base that includes all major mining companies as well as some very well known names in the processing industry.Transmin is seeking an energetic and experienced Controls & Automation Manager to join us in leading and managing our Controls division which manages our award winning Rocklogic Technology that is used on our rock breakers.About the RoleLead and manage the team in handling all incoming enquiries as well as executing contracts won;Maintain contact with our client base to ensure great customer experience and understand the market and client expectations to continuously drive improvements to our product offering;Drive the sales targets of the business unit and monitor performance;Develop and execute sales strategy to grow the client base for the business unit;Manage the administration of projects including client interactions to managing deliverables;Manage the ongoing development of software. About YouExperience in managing and leading teams, preferably in an industry that operates in mining equipment or software;Sound mechanical understanding;Basic understanding of software engineering/programming, automation & controls systems and/or a strong IT background;Strong business acumen and commercial understanding;Intermediate level Microsoft Word and Excel;Excellent communication (written & verbal), organisational and time management skills;Strong negotiation skills;Proven experience in driving innovation.Why TransminWA owned and operated OEM celebrating over 30 years of success;A professional, informal and flexible working environment, allowing for a good work - life balance;Social and family inclusive workplace with employee benefits and an active social club.
