Established over 32 years ago and with our headquarters in Malaga, Perth we have a broad customer base in the mining and minerals processing industry.Based at our headquarters the International Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving and/or exceeding targets for export sales of Transmin Capital Products by successfully managing the export sales function and Transmin overseas Agents and Distributors. Identifying potential new export markets, developing and appointing new Agents and working with the Senior Management Team to implement appropriate agency agreements.About the RoleAssist the Senior Management Team in defining export sales growth strategies, develop effective sales plans that are aligned to strategic objectives in order to achieve company, department and individual targets;Be a positive and inspiring Transmin representative, driving Agent’s accountability, performance and reporting;Coach, mentor, support and develop overseas Agents, existing and new to ensure that sales are profitability targets are met;Implement continuous training plans for Agents in conjunction with the relevant Product Manager;Assist Senior Management in decision making regarding local manufacture or other sources;Foster and maintain beneficial relationships in conjunction with Agents with potential customers, including end users, EPCM’s, relevant industry bodies and Australian Export Trade agencies;Assist in the management of Transmin Agency Agreements;Develop and use the CRM system to support the export sales process and targets, ensuring effective data entry, sales pipeline management and reporting;Attend trade shows and expos as and when required;Set and monitor KPI’s for agents, ensuring suitable reporting is provided to monitor performance;Participate in setting annual sales budgets both internally and with Agents.About YouAbility to plan and work autonomously ;Adaptability and empathy to different cultures and environments;Ability to develop and maintain productive Agency and client relationships at all levels and in differing cultures;Capable of driving outcomes of others;Multi-lingual speaking highly desirable but not essential;Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal;Broad commercial and financial acumen, including experience in contract negotiation;Previous export sales experience in the bulk material handling industry essential;Able to demonstrate a measurable success in the sales and/or business development of mechanical equipment;Previous agency and distributor management experience;Current valid passport enabling international travel;Sound IT skills, including MS Office;Previous experience with ERP’s (Microsoft NAV), CRM software (MS Dynamic) or similar;Ability and readiness to travel for possible extended periods at short notice;Why TransminWA owned and operated OEM celebrating over 32 years of success;A professional, informal and flexible working environment allowing for an excellent work – life balance;Social and family inclusive workplace with employee benefits and an active social club.
