Transmin is a world-class provider of innovative engineered equipment, and aftermarket parts and services to the mining resources and bulk material handling industries, throughout Australia and Internationally.Operating out of our Head Office in Malaga, the Key Account Manager will primarily be responsible for the Goldfields and South West regions. Reporting to the Head of Sales - OEM, you will be responsible for selling spare parts and aftermarket solutions to nominated key clients for Transmin's own range of engineered equipment as well as our agency and distributorship products. The successful candidate will be at our supported by a team of coordinators, allowing for a focus on core sales activities. All applicants must be willing to travel.About the RoleManage and build relationships and grow client base - client base is focused in the Goldfields and South West area;Conduct business development activities and actively seek new opportunities for growth;Understand customer requirements and offer the most suitable products based on specifications, cost and availability;Prepare costing sheets, generate and submit formal quotations, ensuring full involvement throughout the process;Agreement and Contract compliance and management, with key milestones and objectives;Manage territory/portfolio customer database;Manage leads and follow up to convert to orders.About YouMinimum of 3-5 years experience selling bulk materials handling fixed mechanical plant and equipment or spare parts, preferably in the mining and/or minerals processing sectors;Proven experience managing key client accounts and leveraging them to achieve and exceed sales targets;A strong mechanical and engineering aptitude;An understanding of financials including budgets and KPI's;An excellent understanding of the WA mining, minerals processing and bulk materials handling markets - key clients will be Goldfields based, so an understanding of industry in this region is advantageous;Established network of current client contacts in the Goldfields is desirable;Understanding contractual and commercial terms;Ability to collate meaningful sales reports, supported by an intermediate level of IT skills including MS Word and Excel;Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be advantageous;Willingness and ability to travel frequently.Why TransminA competitive base salary plus superannuation;A fully maintained motor vehicle - reasonable private use included;Excellent sales incentive scheme - calculated and paid quarterly;Paid annual Qantas Club;Opportunities for frequent travel;A supportive, available and hands-on management team;A professional, informal and flexible working environment;Social and family inclusive workplace, including an active social club;If you are a high level communicator who is self motivated, with excellent negotiation abilities and a proven track record in sales of parts and supplies, apply with your resume and a covering letter that specifically addresses the criteria mentioned.  AUD Australia - WA Perth Northern Suburbs & Joondalup Malaga 6090
