Transmin is a world-class provider of innovative engineered equipment, and aftermarket parts and services to the mining resources and bulk material handling industries, throughout Australia and Internationally.We are currently expanding into the East Coast market and require an ambitious, experienced Sales Manager to create new opportunities within the QLD region. Operating out of Brisbane, the Sales & Product Manager will be responsible for growing the business by selling Transmin’s Aftermarket spares and Key Agency Lines to a variety of business sectors. All applicants must be willing to travel and have the ability to work autonomously. The successful candidate will be required to spend an initial 2 weeks in our Perth based head office upon commencement to learn company systems and processes.About The RoleManage and build relationships and grow a new client base - client base is focused in the East Coast region;Conduct business development activities and actively seek new opportunities for growth;Understand customer requirements and offer the most suitable products based on specifications, cost and availability;Prepare costing sheets, generate and submit formal quotations, ensuring full involvement throughout the process;Agreement and Contract compliance and management, with key milestones and objectives;Manage territory/portfolio customer database;Manage leads and follow up to convert to orders.About YouMinimum of 3-5 years experience selling bulk materials handling, fixed mechanical plant and equipment or spare parts, preferably in mining/minerals processing and/or similar industry sectors;Proven experience managing key client accounts and leveraging them to achieve and exceed sales targets;A strong mechanical and engineering aptitude;An understanding of financials including budgets and KPI's;An understanding of mining/minerals processing and bulk materials handling markets;Established network of current client contacts in the QLD and East Coast region is advantageous;Good commercial acumen;Ability to collate meaningful sales reports, supported by an intermediate level of IT skills including MS Word and Excel;Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or similar CRM software is desirable;Willingness and ability to travel frequently.Why TransminA competitive base salary plus superannuation;Motor vehicle allowanceExcellent sales incentive scheme - calculated and paid quarterly;Opportunities for frequent travel;A supportive, available and hands-on management team;A professional, informal and flexible working environment;If you are a high level communicator who is ambitious and self-motivated, with excellent negotiation abilities and a proven track record in sales of parts and supplies, apply with your resume and a covering letter that specifically addresses the criteria mentioned.
