Reporting to the Operations Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in mechanical equipment servicing, repairs and maintenance. Working closely with our Aftermarket department, estimating personnel and supported by in house engineering, project management and specialist mechanical/fabrication trades, the Service Engineer will;About the RoleTravel to site both domestically and internationally as required to assist with service and repairs and maintenance on a wide range of mechanical equipment;Assist in the growth of Transmin's service based revenue and market share;Consult on and respond to engineering service requests as and when required;Conduct overviews and detailed engineering reviews of service jobs and projects as required;Assist the Aftermarket department and estimating in the preparation and submission of accurate and competitive service project estimates and client proposals;Assist in the development and verification of detailed scopes of work for service projects;Prepare and deliver product training packages to clients and end-users;Participate in, lead and supervise were required, onsite installation and commissioning work;Conduct site equipment audits, including associated reports;Ensure the accurate, timely and quality submission of site service, installation and commissioning reports;Assist in the identification, development and implementation of service project opportunities, including repetitive work. e.g. preventative maintenance programs and preferred supplier agreements etc;About YouTertiary qualified Engineer (Mechanical);Certificate IV in Training & Assessment desired but not essential;Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills;Ability to effectively construct and write reports;Strong mechanical aptitude, with an ability to diagnose, fault-find/trouble shoot and repair technical mechanical and hydraulic equipment issues;Mechanical equipment installation and commissioning experience;Familiarity with site procedures and safety requirements;Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office;Experience in the use of MS Projects & Scheduling software;Minimum of 2 - 3 years post qualification experience in a similar mechanical engineering role, ideally in a service environment;Experience with control logic is an added advantageWhy TransminWA owned and operated OEM celebrating over 30 years of success;Approachable, responsive and decisive management team;A professional, informal and flexible working environment, allowing for a good work - life balance;Social and family inclusive workplace including an active social club. About the Role

About You

  • Tertiary qualified Engineer (Mechanical);
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment desired but not essential;

  • Strong mechanical aptitude, with an ability to diagnose, fault-find/trouble shoot and repair technical mechanical and hydraulic equipment issues;
  • Mechanical equipment installation and commissioning experience;
