The Aftermarket Sales Manager - Service works with the Head of Aftermarket, and will be responsible for securing sales of service, repair and maintenance of relevant mechanical equipment including; feeders, rockbreaking boom systems, belt conveyors, sizers/crushers etc. The successful candidate will be supported by a team of project managers, coordinators and sales support staff, allowing for a focus on core sales activity.You'll Enjoy..A competitive base salary plus superannuation;Motor vehicle allowance;Excellent sales incentive scheme - calculated and paid quarterly;Paid annual Qantas Club membership;Opportunities for frequent travel;Access to our employee recognition & reward program;A supportive, available and hands-on management team;A professional, informal and flexible working environment;Social and family inclusive workplace including an active social club;You'll be Responsible For...Generate leads, source tender opportunities, strengthen market share, and secure sales of service, repair and maintenance of relevant fixed mechanical equipment incl.feeders, conveyors, rockbreakers, sizers/crushers etc;Present professional competitive cost estimates and proposals to prospective and existing clients, and follow up regularly to secure sale and close out all opportunities including the gathering of relevant market intelligence/data;Develop and implement strategies for growth of sales service, repair and maintenance of relevant mechanical equipment;Achieve and be accountable to projected revenue and margin targets;Manage and maintain key account clients, building relationships and maintaining dialogue to pro-actively identify opportunities for service sales, based on customer needs;Maintain relevant and valuable customer data in Microsoft CRMYou'll Bring...Proven success in a technical, mechanical engineering or service related sales and/or business development role - preferably fixed mechanical equipment in a mining or industrial equipment supply company or similar;Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify potential service revenue sources on client sites – an understanding of the overall mining process is advantageous;Ability to independently prepare client estimates/quotes when required;Adept at negotiating and drafting service contracts;An established network within the mining, minerals processing, civil construction and/or materials handling industries an advantage (broader industry networks also possibly advantageous, as it will assist in penetrating new service markets);Proven sales record, along with an unwavering drive in achieving sales targets in a similar role or environment – history of sales accountability in previous roles;Ability to adapt approach to all relevant stakeholders at all levels – from site based maintenance and reliability personnel, through to corporate & procurement professionals;Willingness and ability to travel regularly.If you're a high level communicator who is self motivated, with excellent negotiation abilities and a proven track record in sales of service, repairs and maintenance of fixed mechanical equipment, apply with your resume and a covering letter which specifically addresses the criteria mentioned.For more information on Transmin and for a comprehensive understanding of our mechanical equipment range, please visit www.transmin.com.auApply with your current resume, and a covering letter specifically addressing the criteria outlined above.
